Potty Training!

I started potty training Tayton in December, and he has done a really good job. Every time I think he is totally potty trained he has an accident. But he has gone two weeks in a row without having one accident, even at night. My goal was to get him potty trained before he turned 3, his birthday is coming up in a month so I am extremely happy. (Watch he will totally pee his pants all day tomorrow just because I am posting this.)

Tayton is obsessed with trains, luckily one of the casinos down here has free train rides. So whenever Tayton is good a couple of days in a row, I take him on the train. He loves it. I have been on this train so many times and I am so bored with it but every time we go Tayton freaks out. He has so much fun, he jumps up and down whenever he sees the train coming and he has a smile on his face or he is laughing the entire time why he is riding the train. So here are just a few pictures of Tayton riding the train.

Not too much else has been going on lately. I went to the doctor today and my baby is doing good. I still have to keep getting my blood work done every month to check my thyroid levels. I hate it but what can you do. Most of the time my levels are low but still ok, but during this pregnancy they have dropped really low. The endocrinologist had me a little worried, he said if my levels get too low I can have a "really slow baby." So I hope she turns out ok. I am hoping I won't compare her to Tayton too much, he started walking at 8 months old, so even if she is normal I still might think she is slow compared to her big brother.

Happy Easter everyone! The Easter Bunny came a little early to our family this year because dad has to work on Easter. Yesterday we had a fun Easter egg hunt at the park. Tayton loved it.



Here is our family with the Easter Bunny. Don't laugh at my enormous belly, and my hair, the wind was blowing pretty good. This will be the last picture I will put on my blog of me being pregnant. Only 2 1/2 months left, I hope I can make it that long. Did anyone get any cramps in their legs and hip when they were pregnant? I am getting them all the time now and they hurt. If anyone has any good suggestions on getting rid of them please let me know.

This is before the egg hunt started. He was having such a hard time waiting. He had such a fun time, he loved it!



Tayton came running to me and said he had a surprise for me in my room. I was a little nervous because sometimes he is a bit naughty but I went in my room and this was my surprise. He is such a fun little boy. He is always doing little things like this that make me laugh so hard. He was so proud of himself.

Laughlin Townfest!

This past weekend they had the Laughlin Townfest. It was tons of fun. They had a parade and a carnival.


Here is Tayton at the parade, he loved saying hi to everybody, but his favorite was all the candy people were giving out.



Tayton loves to look at police officers, he always says hi bad boys. We are trying to teach him they are police not bad boys.

Here is Tayton at the carnival. He loves rides. He wanted to ride the zipper, and all those other scary rides, luckily he was too little. He is not afraid of anything.

We love spring!

Sorry it has been a while since I posted but we have been having too much fun. The weather has been so nice here. Right now it is in the 80's. We have been having so much fun outside. Here are just a few pictures of what we have been doing. We finally got to go fishing. Levi was so excited. We got Tayton a new fishing pole and he loves it. He had such a fun time. The other pictures are just us at the park and Tayton throwing rocks in the Colorado river. We have to enjoy this weather because in a couple of months we will have to stay inside because it will get too hot.

Not too much has been going on. I am just getting really excited for this baby girl. I finally got Levi to set up our crib. It looks so cute but I am not sure if Levi likes all this pink. It is so much fun though. Oh and I went back to the doctor and it is a girl for sure.
