Another Move

Yes we are moving again. This time it is back to Utah. We are planning on packing up and leaving on Friday. I hope it all goes ok. I am excited to go back to Utah but not excited for the actual move. We won't have internet for a while, so I might not be blogging for a while. I'll tell you all about our latest adventures in another post. Now I have to go back to packing.

Summer Fun!

Summer has just flown by. We were pretty much gone all of July. We have been busy rafting and going to visit family in Utah, swimming, hiking, and just having fun. It has been a great summer so far. Here are some pictures of our latest adventures!

We went camping in Idaho, by the Boise river. It was so nice, we went fishing and went on a fun hike.

Tayton hiked almost all of the 3 1/2 miles. He told me he wanted to be the best hiker ever! The only time I had to carry him was up a really steep part on the way back. We were really proud of him.

It was such a pretty hike. This picture doesn't do it justice. There were such pretty flowers all around.

We finally get to our destination, Green Island Lake, and there are tons, I mean tons, of mosquito's around us. Luckily we packed the mosquito spray, but we didn't stay too long.

So a couple of months ago, Levi bought our dog Buck a backpack. I made fun of Levi, but it was so nice. Buck carried all of our water, sun-block, and mosquito spray. Thanks Buck.

The only thing I hate about camping, the kids get so dirty, they sure had fun though.

Then later, we met up with my family on the Payette river. My dad has been rafting pretty much all of his life and he has never done this. Here is how it happened;
My sister took her in-laws rafting with us. The first day we went on beginner rapids. Day two, all of the guys wanted to go on harder stuff. I stayed with all the kids. Well my sisters father-in-law fell out right at the top of this rapid. My dad was rowing to save him and didn't pay attention to where he was going and hit the boulder sideways. This is what the end result was. Everyone came out alive, there were alot of bumps and bruises and one guy broke some toes. The ambulance came and treated some minor cuts. It sure made for an exciting afternoon.

This picture shows it from back in the distance. There were 7 guys on the side of the river with ropes, trying to help my dad.

Here my dad is tying ropes around the boat.

After 2 hours the boat is finally off the rock!

No one wanted to get back in the boat so I took the opportunity to finish the ride with my sister and my dad. It was a fun ride.

I love rafting!

Levi took Tanna out on the kayak. She loved it! Don't worry there weren't any rapids.

So we get done rafting for the day and we head back to camp. We were all trying to relax and enjoying ourselves when all of the sudden Tayton starts screaming. The poor kid was running to our tent, slipped and fell and landed right on the metal tent stake. He had a nice big cut on his butt of all places. So I drove an hour to Boise and we ended up here.

Tayton got 5 stitches, he was pretty tough in the emergency room. He is fine now, but he sure hated getting them out. And then Levi just called this morning and he is in the Mesquite Emergency Room getting stitches on his toes. Apparently he was getting out of the shower and slipped and cut his toe pretty good. He only got 4 stitches though, so Tayton wins in the stitches contest. So that has been our summer so far. Full of excitment!

We will miss you!

My beautiful grandmother passed away last Saturday. I was so lucky to be up in Utah and I got to spend some time with her before she left us. It was so hard to say goodbye to her, but I know she is so happy to be with my grandpa again.

A few things I will miss about my grandma,

Her beautiful smile.

All of her funny stories.

All the garage sell junk she would try to give us whenever we came to visit.

Her horrible cooking, I know that sounds weird but it was so fun to see what she could come up with.

I will miss watching her oil paint. She was so talented.

Most of all I will miss her beautiful personality, she always had a way to make you laugh. She was so full of energy and was so fun to be around. I love you grandma, and I will miss you so much. Tell Grandpa, Uncle Bruce, and Nick hello from all of us, and I am so happy that I know we can all be together forever.
Love your grandaughter.

This is at Taytons baby blessing. I love this picture, it is Tayton with 4 of his great grandmothers. Sadly my grandma and Levis grandma have both passed but I am grateful I have this picture.

Here we are in the Brigham City Cemetery.

Happy Birthday Tanna!

I think I start every post the same lately by apologizing about taking so long between posts. So I apologize again but we have been super busy. Since my last post we went to Utah to see my little sister Whitney get married. It was so much fun, all of my siblings were there except Tyson who is on a mission. We don't get to see each other that often so it was great to have us together. Also we have been busy with our landscaping and trying to put in a sprinkler system. It is raining today so I get a break but I am sure it will be a while before I post again. Also Tayton is getting surgery on Tuesday, so I will be busy taking care of him. He is getting his tonsils and adenoids removed, and also his 3rd set of tubes in. I hope he recovers fast. Last but not least, Tanna turned two on Monday.

Eating cupcakes and ice cream. Happy Birthday little missy, we sure love you!

We had some friends over and we had a little party. Tanna had a lot of fun. Here they are eating pizza, Tannas favorite food.

Tanna opening up her presents.

She loved some of her presents. She absolutely hates the Cinderella dress I got her. She cried the entire time I put her in it, maybe she will like it for Halloween.

Here are a few pictures of my sisters wedding. My camera is broken and I can't get the pictures I took, so I stole these from my sisters blog.

Me with my beautiful sisters. I think I have the best sisters in the world.

The entire Glover group. It just keeps getting bigger and bigger and I love it.

The beautiful bride and groom. They looked so happy. I don't know why these pictures are so small, but I stole them off of facebook. Maybe if I can figure out why my camera is broken I will put up some more pictures.

My family at the temple.

Taking pictures at the temple. All of the Glover siblings except the missionary. It would have been perfect if he was there, but he is where he needs to be. Maybe one day we can all get together.

Two of my cute nieces. My little niece Trissy is so fun, they live in Texas and they are proud of it. She loves to make the Texas Longhorn sign I am not sure if you can see it in this picture. They are both the sweetest girls ever.

Taytons favorite thing was playing with his cousins. They had such a great time and loved playing outside. They played flag football and Tayton had a blast.

All the cousins together with Whitney and Sean.

Happy Birthday Tayton!

Tayton turned 5 on Tuesday and he loved it. He had such a great time. We had a Pirate birthday party for him at DJ's Diner. (We were going to have it at the park but lovely Eureka weather it decided to snow.) I invited his entire pre-school class and some other friends he has thinking about half would show up, but no, all of them showed up. It was a little crazy and hectic but so much fun. Tayton loved having all of his friends there. It was a really fun time. I didn't get very good pictures because I was running around the entire time but oh well. They went on a treasure hunt, and played pin the sword on the pirate, and I made a really cute pirate cake and didn't get a picture. Oh well, I am sure Tayton will have another pirate birthday next year.

Here is everyone at the Diner. I promise I didn't invite this many but I forgot that everyone has brothers and sister too.

Opening up presents, best shot I could get with 25 kids around you.

Tayton with some of his older friends that came.

Tanna was screaming pretty much the entire party, so Levi was trying to help her out. This was how she was the entire day. (She is getting some teeth, I am hoping it will be over soon.)

Then on Saturday, Tayton had his first T-ball game in Ely. (Ely is 90 mile away.) Levi took the kids why I went to a scrapbook retreat. I was sad to miss his first game but I had a fun time. Then after the game Levi took the kids to McDonalds which is a real treat for them. Here are some of the T-ball pics.

Up to bat!

Tayton doing such a great job.

Tanna really enjoying the T-ball game.

Family Vacation!

Last week we had such a fun time. We were able to go on a family vacation to Southern California. It was so much fun, and it was so nice to be together. Here are some pictures of our adventures.

Here we are on our first day of vacation. Levi went out on a 5 hr fishing trip, and I took the kids out on a 2 hour whale watching tour. Here we are waiting for our boats to leave.

Here is Levi waiting to go fishing. He ended up catching two fish and said it was a lot of fun and wants to go again one day.

This is the only picture we got when we were whale watching, and this was before we even left. The batteries in the camera died. We had a lot of fun though, we got to see lots of dolphins and sea lions. Tanna loved the sea lions. Tayton thought it was pretty silly that we didn't get to see any whales, he told me they should call it dolphin watching, not whale watching. I thought he made a good point. We just had a fun time going out in the ocean.

Mom look, it is a real pirate ship. This ship left the same time our whale watching boat left. Tayton thought it was so neat. He said the ship was going out to battle and he wanted to watch it battle. The rest of the day we just played at the beach.

End of day one, as you can tell Tayton was passed out, but Tanna was still having fun.

Day 2 was spent at Disneyland. It was super crowded but so much fun! We took Tayton on the Matterhorn first, not the smartest idea to take your kid on the scariest ride first. Tayton is not a big fan of the abominable snowman.

Tayton on the Buzz Lightyear ride, he loved it!

Tanna has been big into Mickey and Minnie Mouse. She was in awe when she saw Mickey. She loved it.

Tayton got a big kiss and hug from Mickey.

It was only a 45 minute wait in line for this picture. We decided we would just wave to Minnie Mouse and the rest of the characters during the parade.

Me and my princess.

Tayton had to get a picture with Jack Sparrow in the background.

Getting ready to ride Pirates of the Caribbean. That was by far Taytons favorite. He is still talking about it.

I am having so much fun even though I can barely keep my eyes open. She ended up falling asleep in my arms and slept why we waited in lines. It worked out pretty good.

These two boys keep getting into trouble. I wish I had this at home.

Finally, we get to get out of the line and on this fun boat.

Showing dad the hippos on the jungle cruise.

End of day 2, as you can tell we wore him out again.

Tanna after watching all the fireworks. She was so tired, but I know she loved it.

Day 3 we decided to go to China town. It was fun, we had some really good Chinese food, but driving in LA traffic was not the best. It was worth the drive though.

Tanna having a blast.

Tayton having fun in China town. He had a lot of fun looking through at all the toys to buy. He has been saving his $ and he picked out a toy machine gun that lights up. I like China towns prices alot better then Disneylands.

Tanna just looking so cute, like she always does.

Just a neat fountain in the background.

Then after China town, we all wanted to go back and play on the beach.

Levi and Tayton out playing in the waves.

Levi helping Tanna run in and out of the waves, she loved it.

Tayton had lots of fun building sand castles.

She looks so big in this picture. She loved playing in the sand.

We had such a great time, and can't wait to go again. Oh and I made my blog public again so hopefully creepy Malaysia man won't come back.
